Happy New Year!!! The beginning of the year is always a great time to examine our lives and decide where we want to go and who we want to be. Change can be uncomfortable but the reality is that change is always around us. If you are making resolutions for the 2019 do you have a plan? If not…you may find yourself with the same resolutions next year. Here are a few tips on how to make 2019 a year of self-improvement.
Write down your goals.
Make a vision board for 2019 and use a journal to list what you would like to see happen in your life. Perhaps your vision board can be the introduction or opening page of your journal. Keep writing your goals down through out the year. This will help you stay focused and move in your desired direction.
Make a plan!
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail! If you haven’t purchased a daily planner buy one today. Write down your goals for each month and create a step-by-step plan.

Successful achievers focus on achievable goals. Go for something big and set mini tasks that will get you to the finish line. Focusing on small goals makes the larger goals more achievable. Encourage those around you to help you on your journey. Ask around...your family, friends and co-workers may also want to save money, read more books and get healthier in 2019.
Encourage yourself when you accomplish a small or large goal. It is important to hold yourself accountable for any setbacks as well as to acknowledge when you have accomplished a goal. Remember that journal? Put a star next to anything on your vision board that comes to fruition and celebrate in ways that are in alignment with your overall goals for your future.
